Editorial policy

Independence

Stack Workbench’s editorial team alone decides what we review, how we score, and how we rank. Vendors cannot pay for reviews, scores, rankings, or placement. Affiliate relationships are disclosed but never influence editorial decisions.

Accuracy

We verify pricing, plan limits, and features against official vendor sources before publishing, and each fact carries a last-verified date. We do not publish commission rates, cookie durations, or affiliate terms unless verified against the vendor’s official affiliate documentation.

Corrections

When we get something wrong, we fix it and note the correction with a date. Vendors may request factual corrections through our contact page; correction requests do not buy favorable coverage.

Review units and vendor access

If a vendor provides free access, extended trials, or demo accounts for testing, we disclose it in the review. Free access never guarantees coverage and never influences scores.

Authorship

Content is published under “Editorial Team” until individual reviewers are introduced with verified credentials. We do not use fictitious author personas.

Updates

Reviews are living documents. When pricing, features, or our assessment changes materially, we update the article and record the change date.
